What is the difference between Display Name and Custom Name and just Name

    I'm trying to make a plugin where a person talks and they are set with a color that will display their name and text but there will be white "<>" marks around the name. I've tried this but I can't get the Display Name to stay with that person, after a while it reverts back to white.

    DisplayName = normally for players

    CustomName = normally for entities
