What do you look for in a server?

Well, I have a server and I want it to be successful. I want people to have fun, make it their favorite. It is a PvP Faction server. So tell me, what do you look for in a server? What makes a server great. What does your current favorite server have that makes it your favorite?​

 

I'm not looking for a server myself, but what I've seen from players on my server is that people tend to prefer servers that have:

• Mature moderators and admins
• No lag, or very little
• Plugins that address common issues such as X-raying, spawn camping, etc.
• A way to begin actually playing as quickly as possible after joining
• A community that isn't hostile to new players
• Unique, well-balanced gameplay
