Solved Stop internet connection using a plugin

    I recently just joined a random server, everything was working fine until the owner just told me enjoy no internet, and my wi-fi really had stopped working. I am pretty sure that it was a plugin, because it only happened after he messaged. How could he do it? I was thinking maybe sending a huge request that will freeze the router..

    Sounds like he got your IP through the console and DDOS'ed you, I've never heard of anything like that using a plugin.

    No plugin can affect your internet. When you join a server, you expose your IP to the administrators. He just plugged your IP into whatever DDoS botnet he had access to.

    Good reason to use a VPN when joining rando servers ;)
