Does a stone button have the same coordinates as the block it's on? If not, then what would its coordinates be?

No. It's a separate (albeit attached) block with its own coordinates. This is true for everything that attaches to another block. If I remember correctly, all attachables do have a common method in order to get what block they're currently attached to, though.

So for example, if I had blocks set up like this where S = stone button, D = dirt, A= air, and G = glass:
    DDD | DDD
    DDD | DDD
    AGA | ASA

Then would the coordinates of the stone button be the same as the ones of the glass block?

Yep, the button coordinates are the coordinates of the block it's occupying. You can see that you can't place any other block there when the button is attached.
