    Hello,
This is a very nooby question, but how do u allow unicode (UTF-8 Encoding) to show up ingame? (Using the essentials motd)
When i tryed, i put the encoding to UTF-8 in NP++, and the special characters showed up. When i went ingame, there were funny symbols instead of the characters in the motd. (Am i doing something wrong?)
    Thanks for reading

The plugin needs to read the file as UTF-8 to work.
Did you try saving with and without BOM?

Yes, I tried every option, but it still did not register as a UTF-8 character

Then I would suggest bringing the issue up to Essentials.

Solved. Use Notepad classic and save as UTF-8

I really doubt something that works in notepad classic doesn't work in Notepad++. You probably were doing something wrong.
