Essentials can do this, in the configuration file near the end you can change chat distance.

 

But this will also add the < > again

 

How do you even remove the <>? I got rid of it then it came back...

 

Mmh i fixed it all Thx you, i went into essentials jar en copied the translation en remove the [L] and [SHOUT] so now it works fine thank you!
