Server IP

    Hey there! I have a question...
    How I can make my server IP is example.net instead of 158.69.124.205:25592 and free?

    @Bladibudies noip has a free version.
    A name costs money, simple as that.

    @timtower Yes, but the free version doesn't support another port...

    @Bladibudies True, that requires an SRV record, generally requires you to have a domain yourself.
    Could move the server to a different port though if you have that flexibility.

    @Bladibudies if your looking for a server ip that people put in to the "server ip" section in "add server" (mine is Ethan-Bukkit.chickenkiller.com i made it here http://freedns.afraid.org/ when you get there sign up and then find subdomain and set it up like that. Heres a vid i followed on how to do this:

    You can usually get a free domain name from your host or another website. But if you go on namecheap.com you can buy a professional play.server.com IP as well as a website domain.

    You could also use a .tk domain. http://dot.tk/
    These are free, but require 'updating' (ie, renewing it) and many of them are taken already (as they're free).
