Hey there! I have a question... How I can make my server IP is example.net instead of 158.69.124.205:25592 and free? Thank you.
@Bladibudies True, that requires an SRV record, generally requires you to have a domain yourself. Could move the server to a different port though if you have that flexibility.
@Bladibudies if your looking for a server ip that people put in to the "server ip" section in "add server" (mine is Ethan-Bukkit.chickenkiller.com i made it here http://freedns.afraid.org/ when you get there sign up and then find subdomain and set it up like that. Heres a vid i followed on how to do this:
You can usually get a free domain name from your host or another website. But if you go on namecheap.com you can buy a professional play.server.com IP as well as a website domain.
You could also use a .tk domain. http://dot.tk/ These are free, but require 'updating' (ie, renewing it) and many of them are taken already (as they're free).
@Deitnerb On that page there is also something about "FREE DNS", how it works and how can I have it? @Triology12 It works! Thanks
