    Hey guys... I just read the config file and found that it has been modded by the plugin itself (different from the one i got in the zip file), this is how it looks:
    For the "permissionSystem:" it says "GroupManager"; but the permission system im using is Permissions.

    When I put "Permissions" to replace : "GroupManager", it does not work.

    What should I put to make it recognize it?

    I've just downloaded this plug-in and configured it for Permissions.
    Everything goes OK, but when I'm editing my zone and type /zone floor or /zone ceiling it gives me in-game error: An internal error occured while attempting to perform this command and in console:

    Wow, I LOVE this plugin. It makes protecting my areas SOOOO much easier, since I just go to the center and select a point then use radius. One question I had, though, is there any way that I can disable the /who functionality of this plugin, as it conflicts with another plugin I use? If not, could you add it?

    Seems like it's half broken with CB522.
    - crashes the server occasionally
    - protection doesn't actually work at all
    Anyone else?

    Hey Dude, would you consider taking the Border part of this Mod and releasing it as a seperate plugin, or consider allowing features to be disabled in config of this mod?

    borderguard lite has failed and the author seems to have given up, your mod offers this funcutionality, but conflicts with Worldguard 4 :( you could fill the gap left by this old mod with yours with such little work :( please consider.

    Hey this doesn't appear to be working with the latest permissions 2.5.4 When I downgrade to 2.5.1 it works fine, but none of my other addons do. Can you fix this?

    I had this problem with some plugins earlier. Make sure your computers clock is adjusted properly for DST

    Because i can not get it to work, it shows that it disables the plug in because i don't have Group Manager.

    I really need this becaue i can not make my server public until i ensure that there will be no griefing

    Hey, I've got a suggestion for permissions, since this has become a problem on my server...
    The above caused a bit of a problem for my users. Since Deny Permissions override Allow permissions when I set "Defaultbuild=false" and "Defaultdestroy=false" it forces all of my users to not be able to build. Even if they have permissions that allow them to build in certain areas. Perhaps make it so that the default settings can be overridden by allow permissions. Also, this would make it so you could determine the "Build/Destroy in Wild" aspect. Since it would default the user to not be able to destroy or build in an area they don't have permissions. Also, that would basically remove the use for the .deny permissions... Unless of course you had a specific reason for using .deny permissions...

    Thanks for a great plugin, and I hope you take this into consideration!

    try some basic troubleshooting:
    confirm that your cb is up to date
    check server logs for error messages
    give yourself '*' permission
    if that works, try 'epiczone.*'

    I would be more specific and helpful, but honestly you're not helping us help you.

    Alright, so I acutally just changed the settings from GroupManager to Permissions and it worked :)

    I am going to make a few guesses here. You are using Permissions on your server and not GroupManager, and you didn't specify which permission system you are actually using in the configuration file for EpicZones?

    (I did the exact same thing) :D

    I believe 2.5.4 is the current version of Permissions (TheYeti's Permissions -- Nijikokun's Permissions has been dead for awhile now)

    Regen - Set zone based regen
    • Flag use: /zone flag regen <interval> <amount> <delay>
    • Interval: Frequency of regen tick for that zone.
    • Amount: the amount the players health is modified by each regen tick (can be negative)
    • Delay (optional): Amount of time a player must be within the zone before regen ticks apply to them
    What is Interval? I assumed it was seconds, so I entered 1 (with the idea that the zone would regen a heart every second,) but regen isn't working
    What is Amount? I assume that's hearts per tick?

    Ok, everybody I'm back in town.

    I have read thru every post that has come since i left, and I'm glad to see the community stepping up to keep support rolling while I couldn't.

    I'll be spending some time getting some of the suggestions into the plugin this week, and verifying support for updated plugins as well.

    Once again, thank you to everybody that helped out while I was away, I greatly appreciate it.

    Very nice plugin, i've switched from WG last week and I love it.

    However, griefers got on my server today and i've realised 2 little problems.
    - They were able to place redstone wire in a protected zone.
    - When they tried to destroy a sign, it reappear with no text on it.

    So all they did was destroying all the sign around my spawn. :)

    Okay, so what exactly does the "flag mobs" do?I'm running CB 531, epiczones .18 and group manager alpha 5. I'm trying to simulate the "sanctuary" function from realms. I assumed /zone flag mobs none or /zone flag mobs animals would mean that no hostile mobs could enter my zone. Or if they could enter, at least the wouldn't be able to damage me. This doesn't appear to be the case though. In my testing, the mobs could both enter and damage me in my zone, regardless of the flag. Is this not what this flag is meant to do?

    Right click, instead of left click.

    The top post describes how the mobs flag works.

    We found out the hard way that the hostile mobs can and will follow you out of the zone they are flagged for. They only -spawn- in the zone you flag. There is no "Player Damage = False" flag, so they will be able to deal the same damage regardless of what zone they are in.

    If you have the "explode = false" flag set, creepers will follow you out of the flagged zone but will simply disappear when they attempt to explode.

    I would very much prefer this to iZone or WorldGuard with they polygonal protection, but I cannot switch until you have in game permission setting.

    Any idea when you might get this done?
