Ridiculously easy plugin, I think

If someone could provide a very simple plugin to edit the player name in chat (<player>) so that I'm able to change the color and get rid of the annoying < > things. I'm sure there are others that do this but most require permissions and are included with a bunch of other features I have little interest in. Thanks

 

there are a lot of plugins which provide either parts of that or exclude that.

use the group chat on searching for a plugin, and make your thread titles a bit more clear, so we know what you want on first sight. :>

Oh, I'll make sure to clarify my posts next time. I have searched through a lot of those and most that have the feature require permissions or essentials. I tried to avoid that stuff but I guess I should start learning how to use because most of the cool plugins require them. Thanks for the help.

 

Why wouldn't you want to use Permissions or GroupManager? It's awesome stuff XD

Luckily it's pretty straight forward and easy to use
The default config works pretty well too, I prefer GroupManager over Permissions, but that is a matter of preference completely.

 

I do too,
these permission plugins are existing that not everyone can do everything, including kicking/banning etc.
