A Friend suggested something really cool. This plugin gives users the ability to edit signs after they have been placed. I guess when a user places a sign, the sign can be broken. Maybe some protection can be implemented.
I second this. If there is one please point us to it. I have used the search and didnt come up with anything.
There is one or two out there. I can't remember what they're called. Just take a look in the release section and you should be able to find it.
Sorry to drop on an old thread, but I found one! It's currently for Bukkit 1000 http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/mech-speedsign-v0-8-now-with-groups-1000.10418/
Will probably code my own sign coloring + edit plugin anyway, I'll post the source code when finished. Note: speedsign sucked. It could only edit "sign posts", but what I really need is "wall sign" editing. (craftbukkit for example) - Unless this is patched of course.
@needspeed10 and in the meantime made my own, SignLink. Simply right-click a sign using a sign and you can edit the sign. It's a lot more advanced though.
@needspeed10 ow it was a very long time ago, not even sure if it was speedsign. Don't take it personally. All I remember is that the events were: - Making huge redstone system using CraftBook - Wanted to quickly edit signs - Tested out 3-4 plugins available - One used commands, which failed. - Other only worked on sign_post. - One didn't work at all - One gave an exception in log (outdated) - I became mad and threw them all away
