Problem with Multiverse SignPortals

Hello,


I want to setup a minecraft server for my son and his friends.

I decided to use Multiverse to have more than the 3 worlds.

I use spigot-1.12.1 and the latest stable release from multiverse core and SignPortals.

I am the only op of the server and can use the SignPortals. But no other user is able to use them. Why?

I didn’t find any information about the permissions (I tried the plugin permissionsbukkit https://dev.bukkit.org/projects/permbukkit) but didn´t find any permissions for the signportal (https://github.com/Multiverse/Multiverse-SignPortals/wiki/Command-reference, https://github.com/Multiverse/Multiverse-SignPortals/wiki/Big-list-o-permissions).

I tried the server 2 years ago and fixed the same problem. But I can´t remember the solution.

I saw that more people had the same problems, but in no post was standing the solution! So please help me to solve my problem.

When someone has a step by step guide to config a complete multiverse world, this would be wonderful to understand a little bit more about it!

In the future, I will use more plugins. But I am trying to install the server step by step to understand more.

There are multiple SignPortals plugins. Can you post which one you are using?

I'm going to assume you are using Multiverse-Signportals, which has not been updated since 1.7. Unless you found an updated version of it somewhere, do not use it.

 

I used the Multiverse-SignPortals Version 2.5 and 2.4 which I downloaded here: https://dev.bukkit.org/projects/multiverse-signportals

Is that a wrong version? Where do I get the working version?

Do you know an alternative plugin with portal signs, that works with multiverse?

I found the problem. I forgot the permission
multiverse.access.mapname: true

Those are the wrong version; they only were built for 1.7. Try these instead:
https://ci.onarandombox.com/job/Multiverse-SignPortals/

These Dev builds were updated a month ago, so they should support 1.12.
