Plugin Help Players cannot do anything...

I have PermissionsEx set up on a bukkit 1.8 server... as far as I can tell, PEX is working correctly. Players have permissions. The problem is that, for some reason, none of the permissions are actually activated for these players. The admin group can still function and, as far as I can tell, the two kid groups are functioning... but the "member" group of players cannot seem to even break dirt blocks far from spawn...

My plugins are: dynmap, essentials, worldedit, PEX, griefprevention, and treeassist.

Your formatting isn't correct. one identation in yml files is 2 spaces, and every space matters.

 

I ran the yaml through two parser programs, it says it's fine. I used two spaces and 4 spaces respectively.
