PermissionsEx errors

I've updated to 1.6.2 and ever since then, my permissions.yml is wrong. I parse it with yaml parser, and it says there are no errors. I've updated my permissionsEX, and it's family plugins. The problem is that ranks don't show up, even though they are enabled in chatmanager, none of the permissions actually grant their permissions, and nobody can talk. I've been running the server for almost two years now and I have never had this issue. Before 1.6 everything was working fine. Any suggestions?

Try using an older version of pex.

 

Well when I updated to 1.6.2, I had the version for 1.5 that worked flawlessly, I updated the server for 1.6.2, realized this issue was happening, then I tried updating pex. The old version, as well as the new version were both dis functional with 1.6.2. Any other suggestions?
