Hello, my name is Lewis. I would just like to ask a quick and very detailed way of learning Java, and making it into a bukkit plugin. I have gone onto Youtube and searched around and found TheBCBroz and other people like that, but they don't really help. As I have a learning dis-ability I find this very difficult to learn. I've been wanting to learn how to code, but I don't know the MAIN things I need to learn. Is there any way I could learn the Basics of Java? What do I need to learn until I can code Bukkit Plugins. I hope you guys can help, thankyou.

    -Lewis.

I have a thing where I don't like reading, and I don't really remember things that I read. I only remember things with Videos. Also, don't I just need to learn the basics of Java to code bukkit?

Is there any possible way you guys could write down the basics and send it to me, or something?

Not gonna happen, you learn coding by trial and error, doing everything step by step.

Frist of all you'll be reading a lot when you're coding. So you'll either have to accept it now. Or things aren't going to go the way you want. And also there is no reason for any of us to send you the basics when I sent you 2 books that teach you the basics. And timtower sent you a Wiki link that'll help you.

Quick question, do you need all the in-depth java? Or do you just need the basics / intermediate java?

I am developing my plugin MobStacks and I am doing my best with the Javadoc commentary. When you have learned the Java Basics (including classes and object oriented programming) you can take a look into the repository of the plugin on GitHub and try to understand what is happening there. I am trying to keep it as simple as possible, but if you have any questions about the code or how any mechanic works then feel free to hop onto my website and let my help you understanding the code. Anyone can feel free to post into the MobStacks section if you have any questions about the code or got suggestions and whatnot :)
