Need help winSCP And ubuntu server

    Anyone here able to get on skype and help us set up our server? We need help on how to access it and use winscp and putty stuff like that.

    I can't get on skype to help, but its not too difficult.

    Just point your putty to the IP of the server. When you open the connection, you should get a prompt for an SSH key (accept that) and then you'll get a prompt for a username/password. Same idea for WinSCP (the ssh key prompt will only happen once for that computer).

    Okay, how come I can connect to it but one of the mods cant? IT says access denied

    If one person can connect to it, but the other person can not, the other person is doing it wrong, or the host has some IP whitelist that is only allowing your connection.

    Do you have the server set up and secured first? This is the first step before you even think about setting up minecraft on it.
