    ItemCraft is a Bukkit mod that allows adding new item and block types, crafting and furnace recipes, and custom tree generators and more. Using a Modloader and SettingsGUI interface it allows subplugins known as ICPlugins to be loaded to support client mods. ICPlugins can be created by translating a client mod using the ICTranslator ICplugin. Using a ModloaderMP interface (ported by krnlyng/liar) it allows porting multiplayer mods to bukkit.

    Installation & Usage:
    • Back up your world(s). Just in case.
    • ItemCraft.jar goes in same folder as craftbukkit
    • IC plugins go into ItemCraft/ICPlugins folder under craftbukkit. (folder is autocreated the first time)
    • uncomment (remove #) in front of all plugins you want to use in plugins.ics (autocreated in ItemCraft/ICScript)
    • Make sure you have the recommended version of craftbukkit in the title - since this is a mod of that version in particular.
    • Delete/rename the META-INF folder inside craftbukkit-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar (Use some decent zip program (e.g. 7zip) that can do it.)
    • All players on the server needs to have the client mods installed
    • If you use the 16 bit entity id packet mod (in case you use new entites (only ICMCreatures need it)), All players need (flan's unofficial) ModLoaderMP client mod
    • All players also need the 16 bit entity id packet mod (overwrites a ModLoaderMP's class so make sure ModLoaderMP is installed first) in case you use new entites (only ICMCreatures need it) If decide not to use the packet mod, you can turn it off putting this in your startup file: false setEntityIDPacketMod
    • Sometimes you get block/item ID conflicts, between plugins. You then need to set the conflicting ids in the startup script using setID command: example. They have to be set before the plugin that uses them is loaded. Note also that there is typically a props file on the clientside you have to edit the ids on to be the same as well.

      Suggestions of mods to port
      Vote here not in this thread anymore (it gets lost in all the other stuff)

      Reporting errors:
      • Read known issues - don't report those.
      • State the version of CB, ItemCraft and ICPlugin(s) you have problems with
      • If your client crashes, start the client from command line so that you get the error report.
      • Make sure the mod(s) works in SSP First before you report any errors here.
      • You are more likely to get a response if you describe the problem in more detail and do some testing yourself first of under what circumstances it occurs
      • Do not ask for uploads of minecraft.jar.
      • Do not pm me.
      • If you have problems installing, you are likely doing something wrong. Make sure you've followed the instructions exactly, read the FAQ and Wiki. If that doesn't work you can always ask in the thread, while I will likely not reply, there are others who can help you with your problem. But at least try to get it working yourself first.

    Well 2 reasons I still can't get to work on it. 1. Better than wolves mod isn't updated. 2. This plugin also isn't updated. Which I wonder if he is working on combing that ModloaderMP with this for the next update.

    1.7.2 support wont come before MCP is updated. I'm probably going to release a version of ModloaderMP integrated ItemCraft for 1.6.6 before 1.7.2. Depending on whether and how much @krnlyng/liar has crippled my code in the merge (It looks like he completely replaced my fake modloader with a translated vesion of Modloader). If anyone is willing to volunteer for doing the 1.7.2 mapping, that would be helpful and speed up things.

    Ahh I'm glad to read this. It would be a tremendous amount of work to try and take everything associated with this project to 1.7.2 in one go - staying at 1.6.6 to iron out ModloaderMP issues before upgrading is wise. At least that way it gives the developers of the SSP mods time to get to 1.7.2 before worrying about porting anything. This would be for 935 then I assume? Time to start downloading those versions of the plugins if so.

    Hello, again!

    This might sound weird, but I'm not getting any Cave Ogres and very few Ogres (one found in about 20+ irl hrs) from my IC Creatures!

    Using build 860 and lastest IC. Any chance someone can help me solve my little problem?

    EDIT: I fixed the No Ogres/Cave Ogres problem, just a messed up config on my part. Weird horsies persists though. :oops:
    I found a new problem though, the blocks that the ogres destory come back for some reason. It also seems like the only blocks that come back are those that I've placed :confused:

    Really sorry to bother you guys if this is caused by my usage!

    By the way, how do I create spoilertabs on this forum??

Fortunately, this topic has been discussed HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, in the Initial post at the top of every page, and more than one or two other places in the thread as well, however, there is no problem in discussing again - Currently the situation is that horses don't work properly, this is a known bug, Water mobs don't spawn and Ogres can only cause 'cracks' where the blocks dissappear, but reappear when you log out and back in again. Currently there is no fix for this, and work is continuing to update the plugin to 1.7 and to merge it with something called ModloaderMP, so there is much work being done in other areas which means unfortunatley that there will be no immediate fix.

    As previously described - @asdaarg has posted HERE what he's currently doing in replation to updating the plugin.

  17. There would be little point in updating if it didn't - however, we will probably need to wait for the mod updates as well as the plugin update before it all works properly.

    Have you tried this person HERE. He has offered ?

    that i do know the addon's will need to be updated then ported again. i was just hopeing it would work the same way as itemcraft does now. Add the ICplugin add it to the list restart server and enjoy!

    Hey i have following Problem ,
    I am using Item Craft of my Server with ICN Trees , KSlopes , ICSGlass and Mo´s Creatures.
    But i have a problem with Mo´s Creatures.
    There aren´t spawning any sharks or water animals . And no Werewolfs , Ogers and Nightmares .
    What is the problem ? pls help me
    ah and i have updated Mo´s on the newest version becouse of the rabbit spawnrate and now there are spawning more rabbits :confused:

  20. Merging with ModloaderMP might mean a change in the functionality, but at this moment in time, we would be speculating as to how things would work. I've tried ModloaderMP and the intigration of mods with plugins is different to Itemcraft, so we'll just have to wait & see the result !

    One wonders if you are being serious here, since the topic was re-opened only 6 posts above yours HERE, however, just click the link to take you to the post. It should explain what you are after - then follow the instuctions below to assist with the little furry bunny infestation.
    Please download the file from HERE. It containes 3 files, put the plugins.ic and the oldscript.ic files into your Itemcraft/ICScript folder on your server, and the Moretrees.props file into your .minecraft folder on your local machine. You will have to edit the plugins.ic file to run the mods that you want - at the moment, its set up for Mo' creatures and Trees mod. The oldscript.ic file contains settings for mo' creatures, which will make more creatures appear than you are currently seeing. Whatever you do, if you fiddle with these settings, don't turn bunnies on, they'll swamp your server - and don't expect to see any water mobs - they are currently not working​

    Thanks for the reply. The reason for me posting the questions you so kindly answered was because they were vaugley explained in the Initial post. It does say that Ogres don't break blocks, but I got a little confused when they DID break blocks only to replace them a couple of sec/mins later.
    As for the horses skinchanging when logging in/out it's true that it's adressed in the initial post, but what is not adressed is that they disappear and rarley can be tamed, hence my confusion. It does, however, depend on how you interpret "Horses are difficult to control" say so, since it could mean that they're hard to navigate but also that they're hard to acctually control. Maybe I just interpret it wrong?
    By the way, those "Here" links would serve a better purpouse in the inital post or in the FAQ, because I woulnd't count on people reading through 107 pages for a post that adresses their issue. ;)

    Well then, there's still a question unanswered that I'd very much would appreciate some clarity on:

    Why do I get kicked with message "Moved too fast, hacking?" when I unmount my horse?

I don't like being a dick to people either, which is pretty much what I was doing there at the end when people needed help with the same old stuff that's been mentioned since day 1.     You're probably right - and that's precisely what I'm doing :)

    Anyhow, here are some screenies of a particularly killer area of my server with Coral Reefs installed. I'm building a rather large sand castle nearby, with coral blocks creeping up the sides, blending from sandstone to sand to, as it reaches the sky, glass. I'm probably going to hold off on FancyPack items until there's an ICPlugin for Version 7, but I can get the shell done. :D

    I might have screwed up my original copy of 1.6.6, since I can't get ModLoaderMP to work with it. Thus I'm going to release IC 1.5 in blind. @krnlyng/liar tells me he got his version working so this should be working unless my modifications to make the ICplugins work with it again screwed something up.
