All my players on my server are getting 'You don't have permission to do that!' whenever they place a block, open a chest or anything like that. Please note that they can still do these things, its just they get the error with it, and it clogs up the chat bar.

Is there a permission I need to give?

I see this dev doesn't even like to follow the rules and post what RB it is tested against. Goes to show some devs get some power and think they're god.

Few days ago I had the same problem. You must set the permissions to craftbook.mech.* then it will work.

But now my problem: I've set the permissions to craftbook.mech.* and my users can't build a Lift. Does anybody know what i have to do?

    regards, formaldehyd

IDK why you all are having so many issues. I had the problem with the chat spam "You do not have permissions for this" so I added "craftbook.mech.*" and they went away. all my members can still build lift, gate, bridge signs and all that good stuff.

The only issue I am having is why I am here is becuase all of a sudden the circuits are spewing errors after it working fine in 1.5 for about 2 1/2 weeks now.

Hopefully there will be an update soon

I have latest worldedit, worldguard, craftbook and recommendet bukkit (740). And latest version of Permission plugin (2.7.2) http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/ad...ow-with-real-multiworld-permissions-740.5974/
I edit permission settings on my server and add lines:
    craftbook.mech.elevator
    craftbook.mech.elevator.use
In defaul permission rules (for every users), but users can't create elevator (but can use elevator).
    I try to use
    craftbook.mech.*
    Does't work ((

Falsebook is good and all, but I need the functionality that bridges take their materials from a nearby chest. Without it, people can make invulnerable bridges all over the place (it's a large-scale towny server). Any suggestions?

I'll help you by adding the @sk89q tag, or else he might not read this :D.
And SK, I promise you Tommy99 won't be the only one donating if you update :p (I'm not as rich as he is though).

I can understand why you are hesitant though, you have to finish WG, you are involved in the Bukkit-permissions thing, have other plugins to keep up to date, run a server, and also want time to actually play MC yourself.
And if you start updating Craftbook peoples expectations will go through the roof...

Hey when my players place a block they get a message saying they don't have permission but it still lets them place it.. this has only happened since i installed craftbook... is there a permission i have missed out?

Please read the previous posts: TL;DR: It's out of date.

This did work for me, but very impractical.

    Please update sir!

Give the permission craftbook.mech.elevator. The .mech.* thing doesn't grant users the ability to use the mechanisms, it just gets rid of the spam warning.

haha goes to show what you know. He works on bukkit as well, and if memory serves, hes also a mod. The reason he doesnt put a RB is because it works with pretty much ANY RB.

On my server it works for everyone with CB740, sorry to disappoint. :) We do not use the mincart stuff, though.

I am relatively new to this thread. I scanned through posts and docs before posting but only briefly. Sorry if this has already been answered/addressed...

I'd like to request that the Minecart features either be split into a separate jar or be disable-able via config. We are looking forward to all the great features of this mod but we have become quite dependent on Minecart Mania for our minecart functions.

Thanks for all your hard work!

Thanks for clarifying... Silly me: I went straight to the documentation which did not reflects this at the time of my OP. (i.e. It lists several jars but no minecart.jar.)
