This plugin already exists, and I have looked in the plugin directory and couldn't find one that was perfect, so if someone knows what it is let me know. The features I'm looking for -Claim a chunk by a simple command -Limit on chunks claimed per player -limit may be expanded by player paying in game currency -claimed chunks may be put up for sale -ownership righs removed after inactivity/some sort of upkeep system. -as many features as possible configurable The three most important features are expiration of rights due to inactivity, simple chunk claim, limit on max land/player, and ability to sell claimed chunks. List in order of imprtance starting with moat important.
It's a good plugin, but can it be used without roads? I ran into the "can't claim road" (I set width to 0 in config) message several times, I don't need my server to have roads between player claims.
Based on the way it is designed: no. Then you could try WorldGuard, would require loads of manual work though
