Kicking players give an "End of Stream" error instead of reason?

@Afforess It might be the latest 525 spout build causing it, or the dev build of bukkit, do take a look.

Note: I'm also getting end of stream DCs like many other servers, but this is not about it. I also know there's no known fix at the moment.

 

Are you using the latest dev build of the Spoutcraft client as well? You can't mix and match between RB and dev with the client and plugin.

 

Why CB 1391?

 

Even without the client, it's still End of Stream for kicks instead of the reason. It's either Spout or the latest dev build of Bukkit. I probably think it's Bukkit 1391.

 

Well, I'd suggest you downgrade your CraftBukkit build and see if that solves it. I'll see if I can look into it in the meanwhile once I find some time.

EDIT: Down grading bukkit to version 1380, the last known by my memory to not have this problem didn't work either. I think it's spout or another conflicting plugin. @Wulfspider

 

Well, you could start by removing suspected plugins and see if it works fine after, if not, keep removing groups of plugins till it starts working or you get down to just Spout and it still does it.

 

I started another server on the same machine with limits, and only with Spout.

I kicked myself using the console and it gave End of Stream, without Spout it did not.

I'm still using the latest build of spout (527).

@Afforess Bug still present on Spout 529.

 

Known issue. I have not had a single moment to do Spout dev this entire week, and it's looking like the earliest I can check it is Sat.
