Problem/Bug Issue where Essentials is generating an exception...

I am running a server on Windows 10 x86 with java verision 1.8.0_121 Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_121-b13) Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.121-b13, mixed mode). I am running CRAFTBUKKIT version git-Spigot-d4f98a3-64277ec (MC: 1.11.2) (Implementing API version 1.11.2-R0.1-SNAPSHOT). Pastebin of log http://pastebin.com/aLDknsa9. The server is started with this command "java -Xmx8192M -Xms1024M -jar spigot-1.11.2.jar" I am getting some error with either vault or essentials in connection with group manager because I am trying to use prefixes but they wont show for whatever reason (other issue) I have combed through numerous forums and have found nothing helpful.

Essentials has not been updated since 1.8. That was three years ago. It is no longer supported, is not guaranteed to work, and should no longer be used.

The issue seems essentials cannot get the primary group for players. Unless someone unpack and read the line that is causing the error (which takes time to do), I cannot fully know what exactly is failing. My recommendation is to no longer use Essentials and find an updated replacement for it.

 

Well it is EssentialsX which is an updated version of the plugin.

Upon removal of vault, there are no issues. Is there a version of vault that I can use?
