Is this possible?

So I was wondering if it was possible to make it so that when a player first joins he has to fill in a questionnaire, and rather than using convo API, i was thinking a chatbox appears in the middle of the screen with the question. The same chat box that text goes to (bottom left). Like a miniature version.

Don't think you can move the chat to the middle of the screen.

 

In 1.7, whenever a player swaps their item in the hotbar, it'll show the material name / display name if it has one.
What you could do is have the player hold an item and change the item and it's display name each time.

 

For yes or no questions, you could create a GUI, the have items that represent different commands.
