is there a global griefer database? (either site or plugin)

ok once bukkit is released and stargate plugin and craftbook pluggin are ported. our server is moving from a friends pc to a full blown server pc on a dedicated connection, and more scary then that open to the public. Our biggest fear is griefers, we were hoping that there may be a central database of griefers we can add to the ban list or preferably a pluggin that keeps updated with known griefers.

what measures have you guys taken to prevent griefers while still allowing free building across the server?

 

there was a plugin on hmod that had a database connected and
everybody who had that plugin and banned someone with reason (with the plugin command)
he would come in database and it would say what he does
mcbans , better: it is porting to bukkit !!!

fantastic just what were looking for thanks guys. should help keep griefing to a minimum.

noticed that the bukkit verson of bigbrother allows for auto monitiering of groups, this means we can monitier the default group (and thus any new player) so if any griefer does get on we can fix it while keeping known ones off with the ban pluggin.

now im very much looking fwd to bukkit!
