Hello, I have been learning how to program and I love it, I would like to make plugins but I cant find any tutorial on how to on the mac and I don't know enough to figure it out myself

I only have a basic knowledge of programming, but I can learn really fast, I think this would be a good way to learn and I would love to do it...

Would anyone be willing to tell me how they started making theirs?

Because Java is cross platform you can code the same way as on a PC or Linux. Check out the tutorials in the Resources subforum some of which may be out of date, but will still help you in setting up.

I would guess it's more compatible with linux instructions as they're both unix based. I'm doing all my development with netbeans on mac so if you have any specific problems or questions feel free to ask.

Developing Bukkit plugins with Eclipse is just fine on the mac. You can even export the plugin to a .jar file without even having to get in touch with the Terminal (I don't want to say the Terminal is bad, I use it all the time :D)
