How to make the world "deeper"

    Does anybody have any thoughts on how I can increase the depth of the world? I want to do more than just raise the sea level and make the ocean deeper. I want the world to have more naturally generated underground. I'm not afraid to jump into the craftbukkit internals if necessary.

    Is that even possible? There's the 128 block limit... Oh, unless you want to have less overground landscape. Well, I think the only way is to write a custom world generator.

    You have to make your own generator i think.
