How to disable Essentials Chat Prefix

    Hi, I just want to know how to disable the prefix in Essentials Chat because I want essentials chat because of alien words, and I have permissionsex. It conflicts with permissionsex prefix (double prefix).

    Okay, I both understand and do not understand what you're asking.

    If you want to seperate the prefix and username, change this setting:
    add-prefix-suffix:
    to false.
    That should fix it.

    double prefix means double chat plugins, disable other chat plugin.

    I want both chat plugins, but I want to remove Essential's Prefix.

    permissionsex is not a chat plugin, you cant disable essentialschat prefix and keep format. just disable the other one, most likely chatmanager.
