Help with permissions Ex please!

My permissions Ex stopped working after I wanted to create a new ranking system for my server. I also recently tweaked the essentials config.yml file. Could that be why my permissions.yml doesn't work? Thanks!

xMDK Your spacing if off a bit, try running it through an online yaml/yml parser (http://yaml-online-parser.appspot.com/).

 

TreeDB Do I just paste my file in the box for the yaml-online-praser?

 

xMDK Just copy and paste the contents into the box on the left side of the page and you should see output on the right, if there is any red it is not formated correctly.

Also I noticed in the file that the group default was missing a :

Iroh HelpfulBeast it is not an error, but when I log into my server I have no permissions, and there is no prefix like [donor]

 

What group are you in?

Hmm. I have a server host and when I downloaded the plugin I know for sure it came with essentials anti-build essentialschat and a few others Iroh

Necrodoom so I didnt have to tag you there? by the way, I believe my problem is more of a chat problem. I have downloaded a later version of permissionsex that comes with chatmanager so hopefully this will work.

HelpfulBeast I figured out my problem by downloading a later version of permissionex that came with group manager, the version i downloaded didnt come with it!
