Help! My players are turning invincible and can't be targeted by mobs!

Basically the title, a couple days ago I turned invincible without god, vanish or creative and couldn't be targeted by mobs (I am the owner and my permissions consist of permissions.* and essentials.*, on top of being opped) and now today one of my Admins(sv.see, sv.use, worldguard.*, essentials.*) has the same issue! We tried moving me and the admin to lower permissions(Like the player rank, which has basically just spawn msg tp kits and warps), but the issue still persisted.
