Getting a users Texture pack

Sup Y'all!

I am writing a small GUI application for one of my plugins, and i am trying to get the users Minecraft Resource Pack in order to display images onto the application that are relevant to their resource pack instead of the default minecraft resource pack. How would i go about doing that?

Notes:

• This is an external application, it is not a server plugin. Just an application to make using one of my plugins much easier.
• By "User" i mean the the person that opened the application on their computer.

 

I don't think this belongs on this forum. You're asking for help with something that client modders would know, not server modders.
