Generating image of player, (using spout)

I know there is no simple way of doing this, unless someone has already coded this, but i was wondering what my chances of getting a 3d model of a player to be displayed on a SPOUT screen somehow... Or at least generate an image and have that shown in the spout screen of the player.

Basically all it needs to be is the player with a skin and maybe holding an item.

I know this is probably not going to have a successful answer, but no harm in asking.

Spout has exactly what you wanted, it seems.

The server plugin for mcserverlist uses a similar feature. What it does is take a selection of the player's skin, and makes an image from it to be put into their servers.
So, this and anything similar (like what you suggested) should be possible with Spout.
