What is it?​

Om Nom Diamonds is a plugin that allows you to use a diamond and gain a range of buffs. It will heal you to full health.​

• You can now "eat" diamonds to gain full health​

• When eaten you can Mine through 1 block per 0.5 seconds. (Uses two uses)​

• You are invinsible for a Random Number Hearts​

The configuration file properties.yml will be created with default values as shown below:

Im not sure what to add next! Does anyone have anymore ideas?

 

Sorry for the delay in submission approvals, I've been away for a while.

 

Expand this into a configurable plugin that lets you eat X item for Y effect. To start you would want to change diamond to a configurable ID instead.

 

That sounds good! I might make change this one or make a new one that gives people buffs!

 

Example effects:

• Invincibility
• Invisibility
• Intoxication (portal screen, or just the confuse effect from Heroes)
• Poisoned (DoT)
• Attack/Defense buffs
• Attack/Defense debuffs
• Speed/Slow (or both, in the case of sugar. Sugar rush->sugar crash)

 

Perhaps make the "edible" item configurable?

 

I was just going to say that. Maybe you could change it to redstone or gold. I would rather use my diamonds for a pick.

 

One of the reasons diamond was picked was due to the fact that it is rare enough to ensure not everyone can use the invinsablility buff every minute or super pick. IF people want it, it is my job as a MC Bukkit developer to deliver it. I will add it after the next craftbukkit update

 

Seems much like @ChrizC 's EatSugar plugin.
