[FALSE] Able to generate a world with the same seed and get ore locations?

    Thanks to Space, I remembered that populators randomize ore locations therefore this statement is false.

    First off, that seed is used to calculate biomes and has been being sent since biomes were added to the game. Secondly, although the lay of the land is the same on the same seed, many substructures such as trees, ores, the like will move around in a separately generated world in the same seed.

    Oh yeah, I forgot about populators, I guess this claim is false. Thanks for notifying me.

    No big deal or anything, but from a more forum'd member to a less so: it's one of my pet peeves when people try to delete or pseudodelete a thread when they got an answer to the question. What if someone later has the same question? Better they read this thread than post their own. Don't worry about trying to change history, folks. :)
