**** FAILED TO BIND TO PORT!

    **** FAILED TO BIND TO PORT!
    [07:16:22 WARN]: The exception was: java.net.BindException: Cannot assign requested address: bind
    [07:16:22 WARN]: Perhaps a server is already running on that port?
    [07:16:22 INFO]: Stopping server

    This is the error I get when I try to run my bukkit server. I've tried using different ports but no matter what I get the same error. Any idea why this is happening?

    I've tried that. It didn't work. I ended the Java process its self and even went through my processes and found nothing.

    Yes, I've done everything properly to the best of my ability. I've checked my ports and 25565 is not in use. Everything should match up and work well.

    @Alphaflight032 Clear the ip value in the server.properties, that is what causing this issue.

    Will people outside my local network still be able to connect without the server IP in there?
