Extend a Piston

    since there are no bukkit related Piston Class's other then the ones in net.minecraft.server
    if i have a BlockPiston what method can i call to make it extend/extract and what paramters

    ok ill wait but new but similar question how do i see what direction a piston is facing when it is not extended
