So I am having issues setting up dynamic map so that is avaliable on the computers of all my players of my server.

My IP address isnt working. The error screen that shows up says that the address isn't active or avaliable.

I don't know how to set it up to where i can access it from a separate computer.

    Please help!!
  2. Port forward port 8123
  3. Offline

I have. Thats not helping. I still can only access via local host

It would be better if you bought a server, otherwise you have to just port forward porn 8123. If you can still only access via localhost, then I have no idea.
  5. Are you using your external IP?
  6. Offline

I'm not buying a server when I have the capablilites to host and create my own. I'm just having issues with loading it on opposing computers.

    External IP?
  7. Offline

My IP is an external yes. it is not my computers original IP
  8. Try to use <your external ip>:8123

I have. Still not working. thats the main issue. No matter how much i try. Its wrong. I think its something in my Config text.

LeoLoki post your config file please.

Alright, no problem bro. I'm kind of new to the forum, but I run into problems with plugins all the time and fix them myself :p
  13. Offline

yeah, I had original issues to the plugins when i was first setting up my server, then deleted and restarted and everything started working. My only issue now is with Dynmap. It may be a few days before i can post the file.

The most thing im noticing is when im booting up the server it says it cannot access some things and that the server is at Which its not. So thats why i think its my config file

LeoLoki I'm sure you haven't edited the config file at all? I'll take a look at it and post the write code.

I'm new to this, so alot of my server work has been helped by instructive youtube files. Let me see if i can get someone to email the file to me whos near it.

    Here is my config file.

    # All paths in this configuration file are relative to Dynmap's data-folder: minecraft_server/plugins/dynmap/

    # All map templates are defined in the templates directory
    # The 'classic' FlatMap and KzedMap templates are used, which can be found in normal.txt, nether.txt, and skylands.txt
    # To use these, do not set deftemplatesuffix (make sure deftemplatesuffix is commented, below)
    # To use the HDMap very-low-res map templates as world defaults (normal-vlowres, nether-vlowres and skylands-vlowres), set value to vlowres
    # The definitions of these templates are in normal-vlowres.txt, nether-vlowres.txt, and skylands-vlowres.txt
    # To use the HDMap low-res map templates as world defaults (normal-lowres, nether-lowres and skylands-lowres), set value to lowres
    # The definitions of these templates are in normal-lowres.txt, nether-lowres.txt, and skylands-lowres.txt
    # To use the HDMap hi-res map templates (these can take a VERY long time for initial fullrender), set value to hires
    # The definitions of these templates are in normal-hires.txt, nether-hires.txt, and skylands-hires.txt
    deftemplatesuffix: vlowres
