Drop money {paper}

DROP MONEY

The idea of this plugin is that you can type the command below,

/dropmoney {amount}

And paper will spawn on the floor at your position, this paper can be picked up into your inventory and redeemed for the money by right clicking the item in-hand or right clicking the item in your inventory.


The paper will need a lore and item name, this involves protocol lib "I think" to rename the item to

${AMOUNT}
Right click this
Item to convert
to in-game cash.

^ involves fancy colors ^_^

 

Why not just use MoneyDrop?

 

no commands, thats why.

toxictroop I'll make this plugin for you, I'll have it done in a few hours.. But first I need to know a few things. What economy plugin do you use? Also, how much money would you like to drop and each paper to be worth?

 

You should check my newly created bukkit plugin "mobmoney" It's not the same as you requested, it works more like MoneyDrop, but has less features and is more lightweight. Suggestions are welcome, since i want to improve my projects.

But couldn't people just rename their papers on their anvils and exploit the plugin?

 

Henzz they could but we can come up with a way to stop it.

I think the idea is to have dynamic amounts through the command.

So the command would look like: /dropMoney [worth] [amount]

Well I've pretty much done everything:

• Command: /dropmoney <amount> | Permission: dropmoney.use
• Prevents the exploit stated above
• Requires: Vault

not if the names have colors

 

You don't need to have money, to make /dropmoney 99999, then i pick up a paper and I have $99999. I thinks it's a bug. Sorry for my bad eglish ;/

 

This bug can be fixed easily, for henzz, just check if the player has the money hes trying to drop.

 

This can be done simply with Skript

 

True, forgot about that, pretty bad logical mistake I made. I'll fix it when I get home, otherwise someone else may do so.

Don't ask about economy plugin, use Vault everytime

Ok, people are already using this in my server, brilliant work!

Some people on rare occasions are having a client crash on paper use.

Client crash o.o? Not sure why that would occur on behalf of DropMoney, but what type of crash are they getting?

 

Just a ton of people crashed when someone used the paper money.
