I would like for the zip file name to be the date and time, and for it to be one zip file containing all worlds. I want it to backup onDisable I would also like for the file to not be saved to disk and just be uploaded straight to google drive. (if its not possible then save to disk first.) I know that there are already some plugins for this be either there not updated or there are glitchy Ideas for commands: No commands needed for this plugin. Ideas for permissions: None When I'd like it by: As soon as possible.
@Rift_Blade Backup in the onDisable is tricky. Sending it to the cloud can take a long time. Not good for a quick restart.
Still gonna try, also just for trying and learning. Need to make sure that it is solid off course so it will take time (and I also do other stuff in between)
Im not sure this would be at all possible or doable with anyone's ability, because you will have to authenticate your login through google drive in a config, and then get the google drive upload method (if i am correct), zip the files and then upload them. As @timtower said, that would also crate a really long reload time and probably eat up alot of ram at the same time.
That is indeed the difficult part. That is something I have already. Easy when authenticated. Reload time: yes, unless you run it on commands / timers. Ram: not really.
@Rift_Blade I already have a pretty nice idea for a plugin that is able to do a full server backup (or just customizable folders/files) and I wanted to work with the Google Drive API for months, but there was no use case. I'm gonna give it a try and tell you when it's done.
