Plugin category: Chat Suggested name: rRanks What I want: I'd like a plugin so when a player has a specified permission the user gets a color username in chat, I'm currently running a server with essentials and essentials chat, the only reason I need those two plugins is for Color ranks in chat with PermissonsEx, I'm looking for a plugin that does this. Ideas for commands: No commands permissions: rranks.vip - Gives the user with the permission a &a color username rranks.mvp - Gives the user with the permission a &9 color username rranks.pro - Gives the user with the permission a &6 color username rranks.tmod - Gives the user with the permission a &d color username rranks.mod - Gives the user with the permission a &5 color username rranks.modplus - Gives the user with the permission a &5&o color username rranks.admin - Gives the user with the permission a &c color username rranks.owner - Gives the user with the permission a &4 color username
Colored usernames can be done in vanilla! Simply make a scoreboard team for the rank, and use /scoreboard option <rank> color <color>!
@AutismAPI I've already made a plugin that can kind of do that. The player can type "/color [color]" and then it will make their username that color. Reply to this post if you wish to have this plugin. I can also post files on GitHub if you'd like to look through it.

This works, but only for tab in above there head, it only gives them a chat color if its in vanilla, and I need a bukkit plugin. Plus scoreboard cant do &5&o
@AutismAPI My Plugin RankPrefix+ also allows you to do something like this if setup correctly. Link is in my signature.
@AutismAPI Yes it can. You don't do it in the game, you go in NBTExplorer and edit the scoreboard data. The prefix gets set to §5§o, and it even has a suffix option.
