Contact information in signature

I do not really like the messaging system on BukkitDev because it does not send proper alerts. Would I be able to put something in my signature to tell people how to best get in touch with me? The only rule I saw that this might break is the one about advertising in signatures but I don't think this falls under that category. Thought I would ask before just doing it. Thanks in advance.
