Compatible?

    I'm just wondering something. I have recently gotten into plugin development, and I am wondering if you can use spigot plugins on a bukkit server? I know that you can use bukkit plugins on a spigot server, but can you the other way around?

    Like I am creating a plugin using spigot, and I am wondering if I would be able to put it on this site for a bukkit plugin, or only on spigot.

    @henderry2019 Depends on how much spigot stuff you use. If you build on the Bukkit.jar then it should generally work on both version.

    @henderry2019 Spigot is an addition of Bukkit so that's why Bukkit plugins can work on Spigot. However Bukkit doesn't have a lot of the additional methods and classes that the Spigot API may have so if a plugin uses the Spigot API, then it will only work with Spigot and not Bukkit.
