How much memory does your server have, and how much are you allocating to the Java heap?

 

I dont understand it has like 5gb of ram....

bobee98 What is your server.properties? How much memory are you actually giving your server? (I'm going to guess that's done via McMyAdmin).

 

Lolmewn I cant edit that since it's hosted so by default I assume my server is getting 5mb

 

bobee98 You can't change how much RAM you're giving your server?! Well that's just weird. Don't you have like, SSH or something, or FTP?
I'm also going to assume you mean 5GB and not 5MB.

 

Issue the /gc command and past a screenshot here.

You need to scroll back and include the part about the memory used.

 

crap ok doing that now.
when you restart the server does the memory get reset?

memory used say like 3,500mb thats not important atm though I just /reload server and everything in going downhill
