Bukkit unusable?

It seems lately that Bukkit is not stable enough for a public server. Running the RB crashes after a few hours with network errors. It has become so bad that I even tried CanaryMod, which seems far more stable even with a few plugins I put on it. I've decided to go with CanaryMod temporarily until this issue is resolved. Nostalgia is hitting hard from the days of hMod XD.
