   I need to make modifications but the files I want to modify are not in the craftbukkits source.
   
   Must I use MCP to get the source, Then build my own version of Minecraft-server-1.4.2?
   Then replace my projects version with this one?
   
   Or is there a easier way?

   Craftbukkit is 100% opensource so I don't know what for code you are missing in it . What exactly do you want to do if I may ask?
