Description

This is a useful plugin that allows players on a server to report other players they see breaking the rules. The reports are stored in a database until they are deleted, which is especially useful when there are no ops or admins on to deal with the problem.

When ever o try to use /report it says " an internal error occurred while trying to process this command"
Please help this looks like an awesome plugin and I wanna use it

 

What version are you running?

 

it is this one 2.5.1. other plugins do that also. so it might no be this plains fault

 

Ok, if all the other plugins are doing that also it's probably a problem with your computer or bukkit.

 

Good plugin - but are you able to make the ability to view reports made against a certain player in addition to just being able to view by the index ID? This way we can look at the users previous record and take more appropriate action rather then trying to guess what they have done in the past.

I could make it where when you type something like /report request <player name> that will give you the indexes of the reports where the player was reported. I can't output all the reports like with view because the screen isn't big enough

What would be nice that if a player reported someone, and that he/she actually gets to see what the admin wrote.
So lets say Guy reported Buddy for greif.
Then an admin will do summary with ''Nothing found, sorry''
So the player can actually see if it was a succes or not.
If I give the view command they're able to view all reports.. thats not what I want =)

I don't trust my users to be honest. So when someone reports someone else I want someway to verify it. So I thought of a few ways to do this

• Different types of reports, such as hacking, spamming etc etc
• For each type a different action can be taken. For hacking: if you are reported, a mod will be teleported to said hacker every so long. (he is made invisible first, maybe hook into another plugin?) That way they are not expecting it.
• For spamming, I actually don't have any ideas, just an example.

Anyhow, I thought this would be an easy way to sort of check into reports a little bit better, possibly.

I've been pretty busy lately, so I haven't be able to put it in the plugin yet. Look for it in version 2.8.0

This plugin is fantastic, however I have an issue with listonjoin setting lagging out the server when someone with that permission connects when its connecting to mysql.

 

Is anything written to the console? About how many reports are in the database? Does it lag when someone runs the command /report list ?

 

Hi, I have given myself all the permissions but it still wont allow me to use the commands
I'm using permissionsbukkit.

 

Could you implement a feature?

I would like it to also log the coords of where the person is standing when they file a report. If someone greifed their house, they can stand infront of it.

Also, if possible, add /report teleport or something to those coords. Not really needed, but could be helpfull

This has already been implemented, since version 2.3.0. The /respond command will teleport you to the location of either the report sender or the reported player. There's a list of the commands and how to use them here.

Is it posible to have it not just list how many
submitted and howmany completed reports there are with the /report view command ?
But have it so it lists them all like
Submitted : 1,3,6,8
Completed: 2,4,5,7
? Cause you cant tell if number 3 is completed this way when there are for example 7 submitted and just 1 completed .. ?

 

Yeah I could do that. Also, I think you mean /report list not /report view.
