A new category for BukkitContrib ?

Hello !
All is in the title :
Why don't do a new category for bukkitcontrib ? Like [WEB], [MISC] ?
I think then this plugin ( or mod ! ) will be more great in the future !

I'm not sure what you mean. BukkitContrib is just an API and should be treated as such.

 

He probably means plugins that depend on bukkitcontrib, there are quite a few out there.

not really ... these plugins are like half mod on some occasions .... on top of that, contrib allows many new features that these plugins make use of ... and yet hardly any of them really advertise their contrib association ... you have to search the entire forum to find the best ones ... i did

 

Yes it's just an API, but it will be a realy great extention to craftbukkit ! Many plugins use BC, and it's ( I think) a good idea to create a new category ...

I agree. We recently started using BukkitContrib on our server (mainly since mcMMO supports it now) and it would be great to find more plugins that support it.
Also, anything to help raise awareness of it since I can imagine many of the plugins we use would do great with contrib support.
