How can I let other players use my site's link to join my server?
For example I want someone to join using awesomecraft.forumotion.co.uk how would I do that?
I know this will not make my server run 24/7.

Ive seen other ppl do it

You can't really unless your site is hosted at the same machine as the server.

Yeah, you can use subdomains, but is that forum domain really yours? Do you pay for it? Do you have access to subdomains?

that is very little informations you provide, maybe you should add a bit more?

Well if it already is hosted there you have to do nothing. It just works.

Unless you're using a non-standard port, it should work if that domain is on the same server as your website.
If that doesn't work, create a subdomain of that, e.g. server.forumotion.co.uk and point the A-record to your server IP.
Wait 24-48 hours, and it will be fully functional

If you want to do it for free, you can head over to http://www.no-ip.com/

Then if you scroll down, you should find 3 options to choose from.

Create a FREE hostname to point to your dynamic IP

(You will have to create an account first)

    Follow the instructions.
    Type in you IP Address.
Choose from any of the free subdomains.

& you are good to go! :)
