  1. I run a VPS on 123systems.net VPS, 2GB plan. When I allocate my server 2GB of ram i get a stream of
    Code:
[WARNING] Can't keep up! Did the system time change, or is the server overloaded?

About every 4-5 mins. As soon as I assign it 1GB, it stops. I have tried reinstalling java, even the whole damn VPS. Anyone have an idea?

    This happens even when Idle.

Thanks in advance, I will keep you updated as I try new things.

BTW, my burst ram is 4GB.

Don't worry about those, they usually cause no harm

Well you won't actually have 2gb of ram, some of it is being used already so I suggest using ~1500mb of ram for your server.

  4. ^ This. When your operating system starts to swap your servers memory to disk it gets slow.

  5. It actually causes noticeable lag on the client side. I have people complaining about it.

I have 2.2GB guaranteed ram. but you are right, I also have no swap so that would definitely cause a problem.
