I have recently started my own server running on Bukkit. It was working fine yasterday but now it says "Communication Error" I can still log on the server but it concerns me that other players can't. Can someone help me?
Clearly, your IP address has changed whether it was internal or external. If you run your server from your computer, use this tool (canyouseeme.org) with the port of your server (usually 25565) and if it says ERROR in red, then you will have to port forward for the first time or again.
Does it mean I need to port 25565 again if canyouseeme.org tells me "Connection timed out" Also, in my server consol is says this: "Reached end of stream" EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.

Other player see Communication Error. but it still works, shall I post my console log? I also noticed that now my ipconfig tells me that my IPv4 is 192.168.1.150, It used to be 99.101.18.229, I tried to set the server IP to that too, server worked but players still see the Communication Error. Plus I forwarded port 25565 to the new IP. I have no idea what is going on. It is getting annoying and I really want to get the server going again. Should I try to get a static IP? I have noticed that several other server owners, myself included, are having this issue. People can join even though my server says communication error.
