Will bukkit ever be done updating?

i am just getting tired of updating all my plugins, and server stuff...and when i have an outdated plugin it could just ruin my server. i know all the devs are trying their hardest to stay in date with the builds, but will bukkit ever stop making new builds? like when official minecraft comes out, will bukkit be finished?

I hope it will never be finished.

Every update will be something we can benefit from. There is no point updating it if its perfect. So i hope they keep updating and making optimizations / adding features.

 

There will probally still be an update once in a while even when Minecraft is finished.

 

More than that, once Minecraft is released there will still be updates to Minecraft... which bukkit will no-doubt update for. As long as there are updates to Minecraft, I hope there will be updates to bukkit.
