"Perhaps a server is already running of that port?" Please Help!

ive done everything i can to try and fix it i have closed every program.. this has been happning to me since 1.7.3 and i had a 24/7 public server up.. then now.. its just started to say that, i have now got a 1.8.1 bukkit server and it is still happning!!! Help?

 

.... usually a pc reboot fixes this ...

 

Yea, well this has been happening since 1.7.3 think of howmany times ive restarted it :\

 

what ip did u put for your server properties?

u dont need any ip if you forwarded the port

 

if u are getting this message try to leave IP in properties file blank ... my server.properties:
