I can't figure out what is off. My users can't place water. They say it dissapears. I checked in the Essentials' config but there it is on, then the Residence's config, and the flag is always true, but still. Is there some kind of permission they need or something? I'm using CB 1000, Essentials 2.4, Residences (last build) World Edit (also checked it, but nothing)
Yes, as an Admin, I can. But users dont have permission for World edit more than area selection for the Residence plugin. Besides that, WorldEdit doesn't have a build option in the config. :S At least not that I recall.
Well on one server when i picked up water to my bucket from an protected area and placed the water to non protected area it disappeard. It might be bechause of this, or then i just lagged. lol
You probably have some world management or anti-griefing plugin. In their configs there is probably some thing like a blacklist of items. And then there is a permissions node like 'antigrief.ignore' which makes you, the admin, ignore the blacklist. Or maybe you are op and there is a "trusted users" file that you put users who can use water/lava. just some theories, just dig through your plugins a bit more.
I was every config file, searched for FLOW, WATER (name and item number), BLACKLIST, ALL.. and still can't find anything. Every WATER or FLOW is set to true or false (depending if it is for allowing or preventing placing). No water is running from my users :S
I have the same problem,. BUT i think for me it is the restore sponge plugin, after i installed that and delete it no-one exept admin could place water. i think a plugin messed with your water settings to. i tried to reinstal the craftbukkit.jar and essentials and noting works. when i hit a block with the buckit it says: unknown console command. after the craftbukkit.jar restore he doesn't say that anymore but still my players can't place water
